How Family Odyssey and Cozi differ

Calendar

Both share one family calendar with a colour for each person. On Cozi’s free plan you add events from a 30-day agenda, and the month view needs Cozi Gold. Family Odyssey shows the whole calendar on the free plan, and you choose whether the family sees your synced events in full, by title only or just as busy.

Chores and kids

Cozi Chores gives each person a daily or weekly chore list. Family Odyssey adds points, rewards and your OK when a chore is done, and kids sign in with a username, so they don’t need an email address.

AI and price

Cozi’s AI tools, such as reading events from emails and flyers, come with Cozi Max at about $79 a year. Beam, the AI helper in Family Odyssey, works from what you type, say or photograph, and you can try it on the free plan.
